Be ready for July 30th, it's International Bog Day!
Temperatures 90 to 100 degrees Farenheit on the surface of the bog have barely any affect underneath the top layer. Due to the thick layer of sphagnum moss, temps. never go over 60 degrees F.!
Some bogs are as old as 12,000 years!
